About Us

The Beacon is a non-profit organization that serves individuals experiencing homelessness through daily services, civil legal aid, counseling and mentoring, mailbox privileges and access to housing. Our mission is to provide essential and next-step services to restore hope and help end homelessness in Houston.

Established in 2007 by Christ Church Cathedral, The Beacon is located in the heart of downtown in the John S. Dunn Outreach Center.
